Beginner Level 2 - Butterflies

Class Description
*Beginner Level 1 recommended as a prerequisite, but not required* This class is intended for beginners and offers a few more skills beyond the "Level 1" courses, including some more challenging cuts. Students will choose from a variety of colors to complete one 3" x 7" stained glass butterfly OR two mini 2.5" x 3.5" butterflies, mounted on your choice of a chain for hanging or a plant stake to decorate your favorite house plant. Students will learn the basics of the copper foil “Tiffany” method of creating stained glass, which includes cutting and grinding glass, applying copper foil and soldering glass pieces together. This project also includes the addition of wire details (antennae). All tools and materials provided.
